The birthplace of jazz, New Orleans-Louisiana, and the stories of Afro-American cuisine were shared with Hilton Dalaman guests by Executive Chef Tamer Özkan and his team, along with Ahmet Güzelyağdöken, world-renowned Spago-Los Angeles Chef Yiğit Mirzaoğlu, and Gastro chef Hazer Amani in a delightful conversation. One evening, guests discovered these flavors through Mirzaoğlu's touch, and another evening through Amani's, all accompanied by jazz music in a wonderful dinner. Additionally, guests had the opportunity to learn practical tips on Afro-American, Native American, Spanish, and French influenced cuisine through hands-on workshops.
As part of the Gastrojazz Weekend events, jazz masters Ferit Odman, Su İdil, Tolga Bilgin, Serdar Barçın, Eylül Ergül, Serkan Altınok, Turgut Alpbekoğlu, Enver Uraz Kıvaner, and Ozan Musluoğlu treated the guests to a delightful musical feast.
What Did We Achieve?
Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme offers different event programs every weekend to its guests. From June 3rd to 6th, the "Gastro Jazz Weekend" event was held at Hilton Dalaman. During the "Gastro Jazz" themed weekend, guests had the chance to listen to the history and culture of jazz from the masters, while also tasting the flavors of the cuisine from its origins, prepared by expert chefs.
